Level One Beware

The warning has already been issued. The decree has already been signed. The only question left is whether you obey it.

Recovered future signal Some stories survive because they matter. Others survive because someone tried too hard to erase them.

Part 1 of 5

The first threshold: what survived the ban?

The warning has already been issued. The decree has already been signed. What remains is the question every reader must answer for themselves: if a future government tells you a book is too dangerous to read, do you obey the warning, or open it anyway?

Level 01 Beware The warning layer. You are here now.
Level 02 After Post-collapse America rebuilt with old rot under new systems.
Level 03 Fracture Family, friendship, grief, loyalty, and survival.
Level 04 Shadowstate The Establishment, Mr. H, and the machinery behind consequence.
Level 05 Threshold The impossible threshold. Not fully known. Not safely named.

Before you go farther

This is not a clean future. It is a world rebuilt after too much was lost.

The surface may look controlled. The systems may look orderly. But beneath the light, the machinery still remembers what it did, who it blamed, and what it erased.

The banned question

The book was banned. The warning remained.

Dan Tesson was named dangerous. The decree told the world not to read, not to believe, and not to look too closely at the system that issued the order.

Signal fragments

Three moving doors. None of them opens cleanly.

Motel Room Evidence Papers, maps, books, and evidence disturbed by an unseen force.
The Van Control stops being abstract. Dan becomes the target.
Yabi The story bends toward something stranger than politics.

The warning was only the beginning.
